Patholmsvikens Båtklubb

Pathholmsvikens Boat Club PVBK is the abbreviation for this association that wants to protect the interests of boat owners in our port. We have origins from the 40s when we lived on the other side of the bay. But when Umeå Port (in 1974) built a road embankment towards the Finland ferry terminal, we had to move to the current location. The municipality then exercised a right to own the port, but the club received a maintenance grant to provide voluntary labor in the port. Through our own efforts, we then got more for the money. Since 1/1 2003, however, the harbor has returned completely to the club's own hands and we have a long-term land rights agreement. The contracts you have for mooring and/or installation are signed through and paid to the club, as well as the annual fee. For the annual fee, you get a lot of benefits, mainly reduced prices for boat insurance, the harbor fee and joint boat handling in spring and autumn. You also get the magazine Båtliv, which is actually very good!.<

Info about the guest port

Info about the guest port Our harbor is well protected behind a large pier. We have approximately: 20 guest places at the far end of pier A. These are intended for visiting boats. There is both electricity and water. During the summer there are often places available for members, ask the harbormaster where you can berth with the boat if the guest jetty is full Here you can refuel, empty the latrine, stock up, wash clothes and, not least, rest. A stone's throw from the harbor is Ljumviken's sea bath. There it is very shallow and the water gets well heated in summer. There is also the opportunity to play mini golf for those who are keen on competition.
